Registration

Registration Fee (JPY: Japanese Yen):

Since ICESS2024 will be held as a Technical Meeting within a Workshop of EISS (Electronics, Information and Systems Society) in IEEJ (The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan), the registration fee covers only the Participation Fee shown below and does not include the Conference Proceedings fee.

• IEEJ Member (General and Student): Free (0 JPY) (IEEJ individual members only)
• Non-Member (General): 4,000 JPY
• Non-Member (Student): 2,000 JPY
• Non-Member (Student and Presenter): Free (0 JPY)*
  *IEEJ Society C (EISS) would fully subsidize the participation fee of non-member students presenting until the end of March 2025.

Procedure for Paper Submission and Registration:

Step 1 (Review Paper Submission):

• Submit a 2-4 page review paper written in the specified format via the ICESS2024 Paper Submission page
  ( https://www.icessconference.org/ICESS2024/icess2024-paper-submission/ ) by the deadline, November 21 23, 2024.
• A minimum 2-page abstract paper will also be welcome.
• Please clearly describe the novelty of your submission in comparison to previously published papers listed in the References.

Step 2 (Notification of Acceptance):

• The ICESS2024 Program Committee will notify authors of the review results via e-mail on November 27, 2024.

Step 3 (Conference Program Announcement and Information on Camera-Ready Paper and Registration):

• The ICESS2024 Program Committee and/or IEEJ will announce the Conference Program immediately following the “Notification of Acceptance”.
• At the same time, IEEJ will send you Information on Camera-Ready Paper and Registration by email.
• This Information will include the Paper Number to be included in your Camera-Ready submission and the IEEJ website link for uploading the final PDF. 
• It will also contain instructions for registering your participation in ICESS2024.

Step 4 (Camera-Ready Submission (maximum 6 pages)):

• Revise your paper based on any comments provided in the email from the ICESS2024 Program Committee.
• Include the Paper No. in your Camera-Ready paper as indicated in the Information from IEEJ.
• Upload the PDF of your Camera-Ready paper to the specified website by the strict deadline of December 5, 2024.

Step 5 (Registration):

• Complete your registration according to the instructions from IEEJ by the deadline ( https://www.icessconference.org/ICESS2024/icess2024-important-dates/ ).
• The presenter (or speaker) must register for ICESS2024.

Step 6 (Notification of ICESS2024 Proceedings Publication):

• ICESS2024 Program Committee will announce the publication of ICESS2024 Proceedings as a set of Technical Meeting Papers by IEEJ.
• Authors can purchase the Proceedings at the IEEJ Electronic Library ( https://www.bookpark.ne.jp/ieej/ ) starting three days before the first day of ICESS2024.
• The Program Committee will contact you as needed regarding the “Procedure for Paper Submission and Registration”.
